I'd like to hear from some of you other foster parents out there....Do you do something for your foster children's birthparents for Christmas? If so, what do you do? A card? Special picture? Gift?
Last Christmas we didn't even have contact with his parents so it wasn't an issue. Since then of course we have developed a relationship (kinda) :) . I was thinking perhaps a special card with his picture or something similar.
What are you ideas???

I'm not a foster parent (yet, we are in the process) but I think anything with his picture they would love. Ornament? Card? You could even have him make her a Popsicle stick picture frame or something :)
We have always saved their school pictures until Christmas time and put a picture of the child in a (dollar store) frame and then let the kids pick out one or two things at the dollar store for them or I have made homemade candies for them.
Thanks for sharing! I saw a neat photo cube that has 5 slots for pictures and it rotates. I thought that would be cute :)
@Mandy..I remember making candies with Cara many times in your kitchen :) Yummy!
i had the kids make ornaments since they were old enough, this year i ordered them an ornament with her pic on it
