Disappointed
Nothing was accomplished in court today :( The parents did not show and nothing that was told to be completed was ready to present. The judge was in a VERY bad mood today and I felt very sorry for our case manager :( Mom has suddenly dropped off the face of the earth (Dad too)and it's very rare to not hear from her anywhere from 2-4 times a day, so the judge ordered the CM to find them and drug screen them immediately and be ready with the results on the 22nd which is when we will continue the fun! :-(

Oh sweet friend, I am so sorry there is still no resolution. It's something I just can't understand, but see over and over - parents who claim to "want" their children, but fail repeatedly what it takes to make that happen.
Continuing to pray.
It's simply amazing! I still can't figure out where these people get their way of thinking....how could they just disappear at such an important time?
I'll be keeping you in my prayers. I hope you get some answers soon.
I hate to say it but it is better that they disappeared and caused the judge to question what is going on before he sent them home. Our 2 that went home 2 years ago this Christmas have had only trouble since they went home. Recently their mom decided to move to Mississippi for good and left them both here with each of their separate fathers who are not capable of caring for each of them. We wait daily for the call that they are going back into care.
I just don't understand why parents say they care so much but don't really. Why do they begin the fight to get them back when they really don't have any good intentions of giving these precious kids a good life like they deserve?
I can't wait to see what happens next in your case. I hope the judge can see what is really going on here.
That is so sad Mandy! That is my fear for Little Man too...that he will return only to come back into the system again :(
